The purpose of the Southmoreland Marching Band is to strengthen school and community pride through the public performance of music. We strive to develop proficiency in instrumental music with visual enhancement and aim to develop the maturity of members through a positive, life-preparing experience.

Reminder- keep an eye on the website calendar!!!
Night at the Races – Needed from all Parents:
One instant scratch-off lottery ticket for our lottery tree raffle. Send to the band room with your child in an envelope.
A bag of snacks – can be sent to the band room, or brought to the Scottdale Fireman’s anytime after 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 3.
If you have agreed to make an appetizer or dessert, plan on dropping it off at the hall anytime after 12:00 noon on Saturday!

Orders are currently being taken for Marching Band Pillows that are made from the last series of band uniforms. They are $45.00 a piece and take a couple weeks for production. There is a limited supply of each pillow. Get your order in now to get your favorite!
